A ScoutParent is a parent or adult mentor of a Scout who enthusiastically participates with their Scout and also helps other volunteers to provide the best quality program experience to all youth in every unit.

Thank you for your interest in our Cub Scout Pack. The overall mission of Pack 461 is “Fun with a purpose”. The purposes of cub scouting are: 1. Character Development 2. Spiritual Growth 3. Good Citizenship 4. Sportsmanship & Fitness 5. Family Understanding 6. Respectful Relationships 7. Personal Achievement 8. Friendly Service 9. Fun & Adventure 10. Preparation for Boy Scouts The pack consists of dens, which are groups of boys in the same school grade. The dens meet 2-3 times per month. Once a month, the dens come together for a pack meeting. The pack meeting will include skits, songs, jokes, games, advancement recognition and fellowship. Some pack meetings will include special events such as the Blue and Gold banquet, the Pinewood Derby or a bonfire. One of the best parts of cub scouting is that the leadership is all volunteers.
